In May 2025, the Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) launched a new nutrition initiative titled ‘Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan’. This targeted campaign is designed to address child malnutrition among children aged 3 to 6 years in 8 aspirational districts of the state.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • (ii) The allocated budget for the programme is Rs 254.83 crore, which translates to Rs 44 per child per day.
