In April 2025, the Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoL&E) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bengaluru (Karnataka)-based Rapido Private Limited, a prominent ride-hailing service provider, to enhance employment opportunities in the logistics sector through the National Career Service (NCS) portal in New Delhi, Delhi.

  • The MoU was signed in the presence of the Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, MoL&E, and the Minister of State (MoS) Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, MoL&E.
  • - Rapido will post 50 lakh verified job opportunities on the NCS portal over a period of 1–2 years, specifically for roles such as bike taxi, auto, and cab drivers.
  • - The collaboration between Rapido and the NCS portal ensures real-time updates and seamless application tracking through API-based integration for the posted job opportunities.
