Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25: Karnataka Clinches Record 5th Title with Victory Over Vidarbha.

In January 2025, the Karnataka Cricket Team claimed their 5th Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) title by defeating Vidarbha Cricket Team by 36 runs in the final of the 2024-25 edition.   • (iii) The VHT, officially known as the IDFC First Bank VHT, is an annual domestic 50-over tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Established in 2002-03 as the Ranji One Day Trophy, it was renamed the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2007-08 to honor legendary Indian batsman Vijay Samuel Hazare. The 2023-24 edition was won by the Haryana men's cricket team.
