Gujarat introduces the 'SWAR' platform to address language barriers.

In December 2024, Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the "SWAR (Speech and Written Analysis Resource)" platform on the occasion of Good Governance Day, December 25, 2024, to bridge language barriers and improve communication between citizens and the government.

  • - The platform is powered by Bhashini, an indigenous AI system developed under the National Language Translation Mission (NLTM) by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MoE&IT).
