In June 2025, Kumar Mangalam (KM) Birla, Chairman of Mumbai-based Aditya Birla Group, was recently honoured with the 2025 Global Leadership Award by the United States-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) during its 8th Annual Leadership Summit held in Washington, USA.

  • - The award celebrates his outstanding contribution to strengthening international business ties and leadership in advancing strategic partnerships, particularly between the United States, India, and Japan.
  • - Along with KM Birla, other awardees included Arvind Krishna, Chairman, President & CEO of IBM (New York, USA), and Toshiaki Higashihara, Executive Chairman of Hitachi (Tokyo, Japan). All three have played key roles in promoting cross-border innovation, investment, and collaboration.
