On 23 May 2025, Union Minister of State (MoS) Dr. Loganathan Murugan, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs (MPA), announced the release of a commemorative postage stamp in honour of the Tamil king, Perarasar Perumpidugu Mutharaiyar.

  • - The announcement was made during the celebration of the 1,350th birth anniversary of the king at the Government Memorial Complex in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu (TN).
  • - The commemorative postage stamp, featuring the image of King Perarasar Perumpidugu Mutharaiyar, is scheduled to be officially released in 2026.
