IFFCO and FDRVC Sign MoU to Promote Sustainable Agricultural Inputs for FPOs Nationwide.

In May 2025, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), headquartered in New Delhi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Foundation for Development of Rural Value Chains (FDRVC), a non-profit organisation under the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD).

  • - This partnership aims to improve access to sustainable agricultural inputs for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) across India.
  • - The MoU was signed by Yogendra Kumar, Marketing Director of IFFCO, and Bipin Bihari, CEO of FDRVC.
  • - This initiative is expected to benefit over 800 FPOs and around 10 lakh (1 million) farmers nationwide by empowering FPOs with innovative, sustainable, and high-quality agricultural inputs.

  • (i) Under this agreement, IFFCO will supply its advanced range of products including Nano Fertilisers, Bio-stimulants, Speciality Fertilisers, and Organic products such as Bio-fertilisers and Bio-decomposers.
  • (ii) Meanwhile, FDRVC, promoted by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), will support outreach to registered FPOs through training, capacity building, and awareness campaigns to encourage the use of IFFCO’s products.
