On May 22, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bikaner, Rajasthan, to launch and inaugurate multiple developmental initiatives worth Rs. 26,000 crore.

  • - Through a video conference from Bikaner, PM Modi inaugurated 103 Amrit Bharat Railway Stations spread over 86 districts in 18 states and Union Territories.
  • - This railway modernization project is valued at Rs. 1,100 crore.
  • - He laid the foundation stone for three new Vehicle Underpasses and announced plans to widen and strengthen several National Highways (NH) across the region.
