In May 2025, IndianOil Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), India’s premier franchise-based table tennis league held under the authority of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), entered into a 3-year broadcasting partnership with Mumbai (Maharashtra)-based JioStar Private Limited, a prominent name in sports broadcasting, to amplify the sport's visibility and outreach across the country.

  • - As per the agreement, JioStar will act as the exclusive broadcast and streaming partner for IndianOil UTT until 2027, ensuring comprehensive coverage across platforms.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) The partnership is focused on expanding the reach, audience engagement, and overall popularity of table tennis in India through live, multilingual broadcasts on both traditional TV channels and Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms.
  • (ii) Matches will be telecast live on Star Sports 2 (opening day), Star Sports Khel, and Star Sports Tamil, with digital streaming available on JioHotstar in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
  • (iii) IndianOil UTT 2025, conducted under the supervision of TTFI and promoted by Niraj Bajaj and Vita Dani, will see 48 elite players competing across eight franchises in Season 6, scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 15, 2025, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
