  • (iii) Bharat 6G Vision, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 23, 2023, aims to position India as a global leader in 6G technology by 2030. To achieve this, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the Ministry of Communications established the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA)—a collaborative platform of industry, academia, research institutions, and standards bodies—under a structured nine-year mission (2022–2031) divided into three phases: research funding, field trials, and global standard contributions.
