In May 2025, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister (CM) Vishnu Deo Sai laid the foundation stone for India’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Data Centre Park in Sector-22 of Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • - The project will be developed and operated by Indore (Madhya Pradesh)-based RackBank Datacenters Private Limited.

💡 Other Important Facts:

  • (i) The Data Centre Park will cover 13.5 acres (approximately 5.5 hectares), with 2.7 hectares designated as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) exclusively for AI-based services.
  • (ii) The first phase will begin with a capacity of 5 MegaWatts (MW), with future plans to scale up to 150 MW. An additional investment of around Rs 2,000 crore is projected as the project progresses.
  • (iii) The facility will feature Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)-based high-performance computing infrastructure, live data streaming, AI processing, and data analytics services. It is intended to offer advanced solutions in areas such as AI, Health Tech, Defence, FinTech, and data analytics.
