In January 2025, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a leading Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) based in New Delhi, and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), a 'Maharatna' CPSE also based in New Delhi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration in the New and Renewable Energy (NRE) sector.
