Amantya Technologies Secures TTDF Scheme Funding for 'India 5G Stack' Development.

On December 24, 2024, Amantya Technologies, based in Bengaluru (Karnataka), was awarded funding under the Telecom Technology Development Fund (TTDF) scheme by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The funding is for their project titled "Development of 'India 5G Stack' with the Next-Gen 3GPP Release 16/17 Compliant 'Made in India 5G SA Core' for Public and Enterprise Deployment."

🎯 Key Highlights:

  • - The TTDF scheme is managed by the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF), which has recently been renamed as "Digital Bharat Nidhi."
  • - The goal of the project is to provide high-speed 5G connectivity to rural and remote areas.
  • - The project will create a carrier-grade 5G Standalone (SA) core network solution, in line with the latest 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) standards.

  • (iii) The project supports the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-reliant India) vision by advancing telecom technology in India, reducing deployment costs, and promoting self-reliance.
