Lakshmanan, the former Executive Director (ED) of Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL) (now TVS Holding Limited), and the Director of Thirukkurungudi Vengaram Sundaram (TVS) Motor Company Limited, passed away at the age of 92 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was born in 1933 in Shenkottai, Tamil Nadu.
