On December 24, 2024, the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), based in New Delhi (Delhi) and operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Ports Association (IPA), also headquartered in New Delhi, to accelerate digital adoption in India's maritime sector.
