In December 2024, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who oversees the Ministry of Railways (MoR), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoI&B), and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), presented the "69th Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar (AVRSP 2024)" to 101 Railway officials. Additionally, 22 shields were awarded to the best-performing Railway Zones at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

- The event was attended by key figures, including Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO of the Railway Board, Union Minister of State (MOS) V Somanna (Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Jal Shakti), Union MOS Ravneet Singh (Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Food Processing Industries), along with members of the Railway Board and General Managers (GM) from various Railway Zones and Production Units.
- In addition to individual awards, 22 Shields were presented to the best-performing Railway Zones for their exceptional achievements and contributions to the success of Indian Railways.
